Latest Project

The Dayton Valley Conservation District recently received frunding from the National Fish and Wildlife Service, Desert Terminal Lakes source. The District will begin treating invasive and noxious weeds.

River Projects

In the fall and winter, DVCD completes river projects to help with bank stabilization, erosion control and bio-engineering. Please check back soon for an update on the most recent project. 

Dayton Valley Conservation District will begin work on River Restoration Projects in Late August/Early September 2016. 

About

The Dayton Valley Conservation District begin in 1994 as the Middle Carson River Working Group and became a Conservation District in 1999. Since then the District has completed over 60 river restoration projects, that have helped many landowners and agricultural producers along the river.

DVCD works to eradicate noxious weeds in the Dayton Valley. Our main focus is the river corridor, if funds allow our scope is broadened.
