Administrative Assistant
Leah Hoover
Leah Hoover joined DVCD in April 2013. She graduated from Carson High School in 2012 and Western Nevada College with her Associates of Science in Fall 2014. She is attending UNR and majoring in Environmental Engineering, with plans to graduate in May 2018. She plans to continue a career in Water Resources.

Board Members
The DVCD has an active volunteer board. The board keeps the District running smoothly making sure all contracts and proposals are signed and beneficial to the Dayton Valley and its natural resources. The board consists of Chuck Roberts-Chairman (not pictured), John Gavin-Vice Chairman, Joe Ricci-Secretary/Treasurer, Dave Hardy-Supervisor, Bill Mountjoy-Supervisor and Ken Gray-County Appointed Supervisor. The District staff would like to thank the board for all their time and hard work!

District Manager
Rob Holley

Rob became District Manager in April 2015. He was raised on the north shore of Lake Tahoe before moving to Carson City as a teenager. After graduating from UNR with a BS in Secondary Education (major in biology and minor in chemistry), Rob enjoyed a 20-year career with the Nevada Division of State Parks. In 1970, his father and grandfather began ranching along the Carson River in Dayton Valley. Rob and his family now live on the ranch, where they raise cattle, pigs, and poultry, along with certified organic hay and vegetables.
Seasonal Crew
The seasonal crew works hard for the District. During the summer months, the crew works hard eradicting noxious weeds throughout the Dayton Valley. During the fall and winter months, the crew works along the Carson River on bio-engineering projects. This years crew consists of 4 people. We are greatful for their hardwork!
